Hey Guys!
This weekend flew by. I worked Friday night until 1:15 am and then Saturday I cleaned the house all day and then went out to dinner and a movie with Charles. We went to see "No Strings Attached" starring Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman and I must say that I haven't seen such a good comedy in a long time. I definitely recommend going to see it! I will be purchasing the movie when it comes out on BluRay.
Anyways, I saw this lipstick on Michelle's, Lipstick Rules, Blog and it instantly peaked my interest. I've always want a good orange lipstick and this is definitely ORANGE. In pictures it shows a tad red, but in real life it is as orange as orange gets (on my lips). I wore this with and without self tanner and it looks flattering when I'm NC25-NC35.
I will definitely be rocking Orange lips come the warmer months now that I know I can pull it off.
Have you tried Orange lipstick?

You look insanely gorgeous in that picture! Im another lover of Orange lipstick. You should try Apricot Blase by Revlon, its a dupe for MAC Vegas Volt. I know Milani also makes a nice orange lippie too. Temptalia reviewed it over the summer I believe.

ReplyDelete@Anonymous - Yes I have been. Usually I'm not quite this dark, because it's hard to maintain. I use St. Tropez Mousse and Sun Labs Spray/Lotion.
@River - Creme D' Nude is my fave nude at the moment. I'm wearing it in this FOTD. I also like Myth lipstick by MAC but its a bit drying on the lips. I'm wearing that in my banner at the top of my page.
@Brittany - I have Vegas Volt, but I'll have to check out the Revlon one. Thanks for suggestion!
@Natalie - I haven't tried Morange but I remember looking at it a year ago when I wanted to try an orange lipstick...never did then though. Morange looks less scary than Neon Orange looking at swatches I've seen. I'll have to check it out.

I found that it is really hard to take the swatch of orange or coral lipstick. Even though it looks extremely orange or peach or coral in reality, on the pictures it shows more red and pink side. Anw, love the color on your lip. I am just into coral/peach and orange recently. But I haven't find any thing that has enough orange tint for me. Your post just solves everything. I definitely will buy that MAC lippy when I have chance :D

There is a trend for orange and more shocking shades and I see woman carry them so well.I like the nude shades and feel comfortable wearing them...but good to watch the diverse fashion trends here.

You are so pretty and I love the orange lipstick look! I'm from Sri Lanka so I have very dark skin but it still looks pretty good on me. I think orange lips is one of those looks that goes well with every skin color
