Hey Guys!
Now that the warmer months are here, I've been doing a bold pink lip more often and adding a little bit of liquid gold liner to my lids. You may remember I did a similar look for the Super Bowl (click here to view). I don't like wearing tons of dark eye shadow in the summer so typically I'll wear lighter colours with a slightly defined crease, or just eyeliner and possibly a paint pot or cream shadow.
You may notice I've been pretty bad a blogging lately. I was taking a little vacation as work has been eating away at all my time and then on Friday, I was in a car accident. My car got t-boned, both parties are not injured and no charges are being pressed. I'm not sure if my car can be fixed or if it will just be written off. Monday I will know more. It wasn't my new Evo, it was my 2010 Mazda, but still upset by it. I'm actually a little sore today, but wasn't Saturday when I thought I was going to be so I'm going to continue to take it easy, but will be back in the blogging game very soon. All and all I'm just thankful no one was seriously injured.
I hope you all have a fantastic Mother's Day! I ended up getting tickets to see Beauty and the Beast, the musical, for my mom and I'm so excited to take her. The production isn't until July, but we've been looking forward to seeing this musical again ever since the first time we saw it when I was 8 years old.

I'm so grateful no one was injured! My car can be fixed... wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be, but glad for Car Insurance lol. Thanks babe!

DeleteYou look amazing dear! I love the lips & hair! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks babe! :D
DeleteYou look amazing! I'm sorry to hear about your accident. I was in an accident 3 years ago and it doesn't sound nearly as bad your accident - but my back has never been the same since. If I were you I'd talk to a lawyer to see what your options are. Everyone (doctors and insurance company) kept telling me that my back pain would go away in a few weeks but it definitely did not. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteSo far I've been fine, no pain. I was only a little bit stiff the one day. I'm so sorry to hear about your back!
Deletei like this i might try a bolder lip now the weathers better
ReplyDeleteYou can definitely pull it off ;)

DeleteGlad to hear ur ok. Car accidents are frightening. Definitely get lots of rest. You look amazing as always. Love the fotds. Especially love the lipstick it looks gr8 on u. As for curling irons if u wanna splurge go with a CHI otherwise Hot Tools makes some gr8 affordable curling irons for 35 to 50 probably find a good one at your local Sally's. Whenever ur feeling better, no rush, You think u can maybe do a summer bronzey gold shimmery look with the urban decay naked 1 or naked 2 or both?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the comment and the recommendation! I think I might try out a Hot Tools curling iron next just because they are more affordable and I hear good things about the brand. I will definitely post a summer/bronze/gold look using the UD Naked Palettes as soon as I get the change. Is an FOTD fine or are you looking for a tutorial?
DeleteLove the look. :)
